distracted, school, job

Today has just been the craziest week. After getting my TONS of stuff unpacked when arriving at school on Sunday, I played Dutch Blitz with Bio Buddy and D-MAY. I literally had 2 plastic tubs of clothes, 3 bags of groceries, 3 bags of stuff, and my music books and laptop. It was insane. A lot of things about this week were insane. I have NEVER been so distracted or scatterbrained before as I have been this week! It is SO BAAAAD!

So school started again on Monday. I have class from 7:50am - chapel, then class from after chapel til 12:20pm, a break for lunch, then class again at 2pm. So basically I am booked. But the BEST thing happened this week! So you know how I was looking for a job last semester? I tried hard. Went to 2 interviews. Applied a BUNCH of places. But no luck.

Then here I go, Tuesday after noon I walk into the facility services office to ask if I might have an application (expecting them to say go apply online). You see, Italy works there and said 3 people quit! So there were openings. It was a definte God thing...I walked in and after waiting for the boss to get done becoming distracted by finding her keys (15 min later) she sat down in front of me and was like, "so when can you start?"

I was so taken aback in pleasure that I told her I could start Thursday and agreed to 15 hours a week. After talking it over with my mom and Italy I decided that was too much and asked to go down to 10 or 12. It took a lot of confusingness and my schedule was changed twice before I even started working 2 days later, but now I am back to 13 hours a week. Bleh. Going to try it though. If it proves to be too much, I shall just have to ask to reschedule again.

I am SO very grateful to my Jesus for giving me this job. Last semester I was so stressed about EVERYTHING, including finding a job. And to see how God had this one waiting for me EXACTLY when I needed it is just an eye opener to remind me it is all in his hands. :) SIGH. If I only woulda had faith that God would bring about what I need at just the right time! Since I work evenings, this job wouldn't have worked at all last semester what with bio study sessions and all. I couldn't have handled it. Now I think it shall be much much better. God truly knows best. Isn't he just the BESTEST EVER IN THE UNIVERSE?!?!?! :D :D :D I love Jesus so much.

Chapel started having praise and worship songs before the speaker starts each day. Its been fun dancing to them with Italy! O Happy Day is a fun song with hand motions. LOL.

About distractions - I was confused over the scheduled work hours, missed a email about a SAC meeting I was supposed to go to, missed meeting TeeHee for Oasis cause I forgot my phone was charging in my room and I went to Bible study  (which was bad since I invited her to go! alfkjaodria) left my keys in my room twice and once in a friend's room...SIGH and a few other things. Just SO SO distracted and scatterbrained. This has GOT to stop. SO bad.

I have being fairly productive during down time between classes and work. I shall have to keep that up if I am going to stay on track this semester. Scared for all the math in chemistry though! Very concerned that I shall not make it. But I'm going to keep pushing on! No matter how hard, I know God shall help me pull through. Cling to Him my friends, and have faith. You might not and probably do not see His plans for you now. You know not what they shall turn out to be in the long run. But He wants good things for you!

Jeremiah 29:11
For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the LORD, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.

So do not give up hope or become stressed - place it all in the Lord's hands and have faith that He shall pull your through. You didn't think it was your own doing that you made it through last semester did you? Cause it wasn't. :)

Love you my friends.

Psalm 118:13
I was pushed back and about to fall, but the LORD helped me.

Want to Chew?

"It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives..."

I love this quote! I don't know who said it, but it is so so true.

For quite a silly example, yesterday I really missed chewing. Chewing?! Yes, chewing. When you cannot even fit earbuds into your ears, you know your face is swollen. I basically CAN'T chew cause my mouth is stiff. I never realized what a blessing it is to be able to chew until now...when it is very hard to do so. Imagine if you didn't have any teeth! And had to eat a soft diet all the time... *shudders* Thank you God for giving me all my teeth...and then some! ;)
No joke, I am truly thankful to my savior Jesus for aiding me in such a quick recovery! I haven't felt sick a'tall! Besides some minor soreness and swelling (and ocassional salt-water rinsing...LOL) I have been perfectly normal. If you consider me normal that is...ha!

Then again, I wonder if it really is entirely true. There is some truth to all lies, so then is there some lie to all truths? Perhaps that is what we call 'exceptions' ? IDK.
No lie comes from truth though, no matter what parallels we might find in it to the truth...

1 John 2:21
"I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth."

But it seems that regarding spirtual matters, sometimes you DO know that there is something missing before you have got it. YET you wouldn't really know the entirety of what it is you are missing until you actually have it, now would you? It is just that God puts in our hearts a knowledge for the supernatural. A knowing, deep down, that there is more than what you can see. Why do you think magic is such a popular subject with the secular world? (and Christian realm as well...I personally love Narnia and AlagaĆ«sia) Humans know that there is a spiritual realm as well as a physical one. People might even confess they believe in other worlds. Well, are not heaven and hell, in a way, other worlds? They are not here on earth for sure! (though rumor has it hell is located in the center of the earth...creepy stuff) That is, they are not something we know and live in at the moment...yes? IDK, I don't wanna confuse myself more. Ephesians 6:12

ANYWAYS,
Grace and peace to you my friends! May you have a good week whether this starts a new semester or ends your fall break, remember to always eat pizza with pickled prunes. Cuts down on the heartburn!
hahaha, JK
remember to always find time for Jesus! He is the true blessing.

Ephesians 1:3
"Praise be to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in the heavenly realms with every spiritual blessing in Christ."
